1. Can I submit my own fanfiction?
Yes, if you feel it worthy, go ahead. You may also submit more than 1 fanfiction by the same author.
2. Do they have to be on fanfiction.net?
No, but when submitting a fanfiction, provide a link.
3. Does it have to be in English?
For now, yes. Sorry. It's not set in stone, but most likely scenario-it has to be in English.
4. When is the deadline for submitting fanfictions to be in the competition?
September 20th, 2005.
5. How is it going to be judged?
Rounds. Everyone is in Round One, or the preliminary round, starting September 20th. Fanfictions are
only judged against the others in their own category, or, 1 fanfiction will not be judged against another that sits in a different
category. Naturally, competition gets tougher through each round.
Grammer/Spelling- Accurate grammar and spelling of words and of canon names.
Consistency- There aren't many inconsistencies in certain chapters as far as grammar, spelling, plot, and characterisation
go.
Style and Syntax- A writing style that is recognizable as truly yours will help push you along in the competition,
as does use of good words fitting in the fanfiction.
